Bits and Pieces with Sound

The Mangarakau Soundcamp was held in May 2018 as part of the International Dawn Chorus Day, a number of soundcamps were held around the world. At each camp a  broadcast of the dawn chorus in that location was live streamed, so people could listen for 24 hours to the dawn chorus as the sun rose and moved across the globe. A sound map (see below) was developed after the event to aid exploration of the Mangarakau Wetlands in Golden Bay.
